ABOUT HEIDI LYNN

     HELLO, FRIEND!  MY NAME IS HEIDI MITCHELL.  WAIT, WHAT?!  WHY IS THIS SITE ALL ABOUT 'HEIDI LYNN'?  AS A WOMAN, MY LAST NAME IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE, SO I CHOSE TO USE A BRAND.  HEIDI LYNN.  THAT'S ME.  i am a fairly new artist despite creating art all my life.  i haven't considered myself an artist until 2017 when a life-altering event pushed me to explore this ASPECT more closely within myself.

     i am still trying to find "my style".  some TECHNIQUES i learned from bob ross videos and some from a great local artist, BOB JAMISON.  AND MYSELF.  MAYBE I SHOULD CHANGE MY NAME TO 'BOB'.  each new painting; the subject, the technique, the colors, even the amount of detail differ from WORK TO WORK.  for example, i painted a elephant and was happy with its more cartoon-like features, so i left it that way.

     my works tend to lean toward traditional with a little whimsical.  a few pieces have a story.  continue to the portfolio to read the background of each piece.
